Life with Children

Steve was off Saturday but no one really felt up to doing much...he was chuffed to go and meet a Dart Player, I chilled out and watched a cbeebies dvd with Isla, Katie and Emma had a creative day, we all enjoyed some time together as a family in the afternoon watching movies and eating chocolate.....but by the time dinner was over and done with it got a bit crazy....Isla was whizzing around in her baby walker, sure thats why she was sick everywhere...so any way....bathed all three girls, got aload of washing on and hoovered for the 4th time that day.....Isla still hyper and Emma joined in on the act (was really very funny).....after an hour or so of complete madness Katie and Emma took themselves off to bed and watched Only Fools and Horses (again)....Isla had melt down because i wouldn't let her chew my mobile phone but she finally went to sleep after wearing herself out.....

On Sunday i had a bit of a long lie but had to get up and get uniform washed, pack lunch boxes washed, shoes polished and extra homework done with Emma.....Isla yet again had to have another bath after she grabbed her fruit pot from my hand and poured it down herself.....4 lots of hoovering in one day.....Isla whizzed across the livingroom in her babywalker opened one of the drawers for the craft cupboard and starting chewing on a pair of scissors.....i pretty much done a A Team style roll across the livingroom putting my back out and saved Isla from a trip to A & E....Honestly i am going to have a heart attack before i reach 32.....Oh and to top it all off, it was flippin HOT.........

Monday....Soooooo hot again....why i thought it was a good idea to go into town i don't know......went in with a friend, went to Burger King for Lunch, Isla sat in one of the high chairs and made me feel guilty for eating my fries, so i cooled one down for her and she grabs it with her chubby little hand and rams it so far down her throat she throws up everyway.....clean her up and change her outfit and she just sits there and smiles......happy with what i got on town i head for home, hand Isla to Steve so i can go get a drink and she screams the house down (mummies girl) i can't even get housework done, put her in the babywalker and as soon as my hand picks up the brush to wash the dishes, boy don't i know about it.....Katie was having dinner around a friends sooooo Steve treated Emma to a KFC......more hoovering, washing, dusting, bathing Isla, Homework with Emma and then i turn around to find that Isla is sitting at Steve's bookshelf pulling all his dvds out....needless to say i was shattered by the time i went to bed....

Tuesday.....Not alot in the way of housework got done...Isla wanted to play....It was a pretty easy going day and was quite uneventful.....

Wednesday.....went to my dads with Steve and Isla...Steve is doing some decorating...so i just chilled out playing with Isla and had some lunch.....school run then dinner....some friends came to visit, Isla got over tierd and had major melt down.....not much to tell really....

Tomorrow the girls are off school as the teachers are on strike.....Emma has a big Sing Up concert in the evening, Steve, Katie and my Dad are going....I have to stay at home to put Isla to bed, feel sad that i have to miss it but she will only settle for me.....I know Emma will do Fab and she is soooo looking forward to it.....

Friday the girls are off again due to teacher training day...soooo we are going to the park to meet some friends and have fish and chips for lunch Yummy...Looking forward to having the girla at home xxxxx
