Simply the most wonderful time of the Year

 

I adore Autumn, the colours of the leaves, the crunch the make under your feet whilst walking and how amazing everying looks.

Halloween is what makes Steve and I turn into big kids.......we love to decorate the house and dress up the kids.......

Firework Night is Fab, the beautiful colours.......i always make special dinners on firework night, normally hot dogs and burgers, my fave is baked potato and chilli.......got to have hot chocolate and squirty cream too.

Okay so i am a scented candle fan and i burn them everyday but this time of the year i love to burn them the most, when its cold outside and you are snuggled down for the evening......the scent smells through out the house......for me it just makes everything alright with the world.

Hot Chocolate and Cream, has to be this time of the year........my kids adore this especially on a freezin cold morning when they know they have to leave for school this to them just makes that bit easier.

The Cold Crisp Wintery Mornings for me are the best ever, i adore snow and having snow ball fights with the kids........its like a perfect christmas card when you wake in the morning to see the ground covered in snow.

 

Fluffy Socks for those freezin cold nights, when you feet get uncovered at night whilst sleeping, with these you know you will still have warm toasty toes..........

Got to have blankets, we always have piles of blankets stacked down the side of the sofa........my girls love thier santa blankets and can't wait to get them out for christmas.............

I adore Christmas as does Steve, in fact he is a big kid when it comes to this time of year..........oves to decorate the house and have the christmas music on, movies to be watched and time as a family.....can't beat it x

I love the Christmas Story...........i like the children to know thwe true meaning of christmas.........i like them to know its not all about presents and eating too much..........

Love Love Love Christmas Lights.............the more the better...............the twinkle and the colours amaze me and i love to see the girls wee faces when we turn them on x

Seeing the girls open their prsents or knowning someone is going to be sooooooo happy when they open their present and know how much thought you have put into picking it for them x

Can't beat comfort food at this time of the year.............stews being my fave served with crusty bread.....YUMMY x

Where Does The Time Go

Hi, Everyone it has been a while since i lasted posted on here.......

I feel like time is going by soooooo quickly.......3 and a half weeks until the summer holiday's which i am looking forward to, will be nice to spend quailty time with the girls, hopefully there will be some nice weather........

 September will see Katie going into year 7 and turning 12, Emma starting her 1st year of middle school (she will turn 10 in Dec) and Isla turning 2......I feel my time with Isla is zooming by at such a fast pace that i can't even remember her being a tiny baby :(

Being a mum brings soooo much change to my life......I love it but it is hard work and there are not babies for long !!!!!!! it kind of scares me that are growing up sooooo quickly and are so clued up, more clued up than I ever was at such a young age !!!!!!

I do enjoy watching them grow but just wish i could slow the process down a little :)

Turning 32

The 15th March was my birthday and i turned 32, i really don't feel any different......

I had a lovely day and was spoiled rotten with some lovely presents......

A large jar of Ocean Blossom, large jar of Fluffy Towels and a large jar of Pink Sands.....

and 32 Yankee Tarts.....and i lovely new Yankee tart burner :D

My lovely friend bought some beautiful bubble baths, they smell divine, especially the almond milk and honey one xxx

Mothers Day was lovely too......

Steve and the kiddies got me 6 Yankee Samplers and a new Yankee sampler holder.....

We had take away, nice to have a night off from cooking :D

So really i was very spoiled on these 2 days.......

Its Been Along Time

Hi...its been along time since i posted anything on my Blog.....so here goes

Isla will soon be 18 months old so i am thinking about starting to potty train very soon, potty training is not my fave thing to do...Katie was very easy and learned quickly, she was dry day and night in 2 weeks flat, Emma on the other hand was such a nightmare i think i nearly lost the plot.....8 months of trying everything but finally she got the hang of it with some help from her Playschool Leader.....so here's to hoping Isla will be easier but i am not holding my breath.....

Isla's list of words that she can say is getting longer.....here are a few

Buger....Okay so its not a great one but from time to time it really makes me smile....

Price Tag.....wierd i know but she has older sisters and they love Jessie J.....

Upstairs....she loves to say this as i am chasing her up the stairs when she has escaped the livingroom......

Tuesday and Friday...not sure why.....

Phone.....she loves mobile phones......

Shut The Door.....she loves to give people kisses and wave them goodbye when they are going out.....she shouts Shut The Door.....

Katie is doing well at school and enjoying Sea Cadets.....she recently went to a Lush Party and enjoyed it very much, she also very much enjoyed the trip to Westminister with the Sea Cadets.....

Emma loves Cubs and French Club.....she very much enjoyed her Best Friends Birthday Party and Sleepover....but the poor little Love is in bed as i write my Blog, feeling very unwell.....Get Better Soon !!!!!!

The livingroom is being redecorated.....sooooo exicted and The Lovely Paul cames and built as i lovely dvd cupboard.....it looks fab and i can't wait to see it when its been painted......

Half Term has been busy with sleepovers, Parties, Kids World and Swimming, looking forward to a rest next week, though i really don't think Isla is going to let that happen......

Sooooo not alot to say as such but i really must go and make lunch and get Isla down for a nap and then i will be off training xxxx

Christmas 2011

Just a short post as Isla is about ready to for a nap and i might just have to join her :)

Its been a little crazy lately with it being Christmas, lots of shopping, wrapping and cooking.......the late night nights are something i am not used to but hey ho its the holidays and when the girls go back to school next week i will get myself into a better bedtime routine ready for those early morning starts.......

It had been a really good christmas and we have had alot of fun but i am ready to start a New Year and looking forward to new challenges and training for the Moonwalk......looking forward to watching the girls grow and spending time as a family xxx

Everything Costs

Today Steve, Isla and I popped into town......Isla had to have some new shoes, so off to Clarks we went and spent £28 on a very lovely pair of purple shoes......she has gone from a 3G to a 4F in 8 weeks, so even though she is small we have spent out £50 in 8 weeks on shoes just for 1 child.....

Had a look at some mobile phones for Katie's christmas, Vodafone have some great ones....saw a nice one that i would not mind.....

Got a great bargin on Yankee Candles.....2 med jars for £20.45....Welcome Christmas and White Christmas.....very very pleased.....

On the list of things to buy was a stair gate.......Steve put it up and Boy Oh Boy Isla was NOT a happy bunny.....she stands and holds on to it and shouts......

I feel soooooo ready for the weekend and everyone in this family seems tierd and grouchy !!!!!!!!

Roll on bedtime when the house is peaceful and i can rest and relax !!!!!!!!!

Halloween

Just quick Blog as it is nearly time to get the girls off to school......

Last night was a great night and fun had by all......Steve took the girls Trick or Treating and i stayed at home and answered the door......

Katie, Emma and Isla all looked fab and came home with loads of sweets, i was not left with alot as the night was busy and we had a lot of Trick or Treaters......the costumes that the children were wearing looked fab...we had witches, litle devils, ghosts, vampires and many more.....the little kids were soooooo cute......

Isla enjoyed answering the door with me and would giggle at everyone......she was sooooo cute and everyone thought she was sooooo sweet in her cat outfit......

The girls and Steve came back very tierd but happy and girls were over the moon with how well they had done......Great Night had by all.....Roll on Next Year xxxxxxxx
