Spring

What I Love about Spring

The beautiful flowers
Baby animals
Easter
Spring Showers
Blossoms on the trees
Its warm but not hot
Feeding the ducks
Emma can wear pretty school dresses (lemon or pale blue check)

What I Love about Summer

Filling my drinks with loads of Ice Cubes
Seeing the kids in shorts and t-shirts
Going for picnics
Ice Lollies
Salads
BBQ'S
The Sun Shining

What Love about Autumn

The colours of the trees
Conkers
Kids playing in the leaves that have fallen from the trees
Starting to sort the girls winter clothes out
Going for long brisk walks
Stopping off at cafe for Hot Chocolate and sitting near the window to people watch
Breaking our the fleece blankets
Starting my Christmas Shopping
Having Katie and now Isla's birthdays in Sept
School Photos

What I Love about Winter

Cold weather
Snuggling
Winter Clothes

School Christmas Plays
Emma's birthday in Dec
Making Paper Snowflakes (last year we had 250 handmade paper snowflakes hanging from our ceilings)
Comfort (apple crumbles and stews)
Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows

Wrapping presents and writing Christmas Cards
Christmas Eve is the best (do love christmas morning too)
The Family Traditions at Christmas
Decorating the Christmas Tree
Making Mince Pies

Wearing socks to bed because my feet are turning blue
Extra blankets on the beds (especially love the girls santa blankets)

Reading Christmas Stories to the Girls

and sooooo many more things

But I truly love the Navitiy Story.....I love telling the girls about the beautiful little baby and the star that shone bright in the sky and the angels.....Yes Christmas is about recieving and giving gifts, the magic of santa claus (and in our house the christmas fairies and elevs) but I think its sooooo important for our family to think about Jesus Christ being born in a manager !!!!!!!!!!
